ABOUT THE COMPANY – WBHO
The history of WBHO dates back to 1970 when John Wilson and Brian Holmes founded Wilson-Holmes (Pty) Ltd - since its inception, the company has gone through various mergers before being names WBHO Construction in 1994.
The JSE listed company is one of the biggest Southern African construction companies, with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Durban.
WBHO are involved in various construction activities including Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Roads and Earthworks.
ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME
WBHO Learnerships are available within the following fields (BTech/ BEng/ BSc/ National Diploma):
- Civil Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Management
- Building Science
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and requested to attend an interview.
WBHO learners will receive a salary which is determined by their current year and field of study, however no extra employment benefits will be provided. Students will be required to work according to site specific requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria - failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Studying full-time towards one of the aforementioned qualifications
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in your previous year of study
