DETAILS ABOUT THE IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAMME:
Location: Gauteng (Pretoria; Wadeville; Midrand) & Eastern Cape (Port Elizabeth)
Duration: 12 months
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa are offering In Service training for students who wish to gain practical job experience, in the field of Engineering, Quality Assurance and Processing. Candidates will be based at various manufacturing plants across South Africa.
1) Engineering In Service Trainee: key outputs
Will be required to maintain, inspect, adjust and repair equipment according to maintenance targets, to constantly improve department efficiency, optimize equipment availability and to minimize losses and risk.
2) Quality Assurance In Service Trainee: key outputs
Will be required to conduct quality tests, compile reports and communicate out of line specifications, to ensure quality of the product and package are maintained according to the company standards. Will also be required to ensure costs are minimized and records are available for audit purposes.
3) Processing In Service Trainee: key outputs
Will be required to perform checks and analysis on final syrup, to ensure adherence to the companies KORE principles and requirements to produce soft drinks that conform to all regulatory requirements. Will be required to complete validations on several in-house processes. Will be required to assist with investigation and implementation of process optimization opportunities within the processing department. Candidate will be exposed to a high levels of automation and process control.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
1) Engineering In Service Trainee:
- Must have completed Grade 12
- Must be currently studying towards a National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Must have completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
2) Quality Assurance In Service Trainee:
- Must have completed Grade 12
- Must be currently studying towards a National Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology and Food Technology
- Must have completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
3) Processing In Service Trainee:
- Must have completed Grade 12
- Must be currently studying towards a National Diploma Chemical Engineering
- Must have completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
