DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Webber Wentzel is offering a Candidate Attorney Programme whereby law graduates will have the opportunity to gain occupational training. The aim of the programme is to cater to all candidates and grant them the opportunity to become part of the legal team.
The candidate will be based in either Cape Town or Johannesburg and will rotate throughout the various legal practice areas. This will allow them to gain exposure to many legal disciplines whilst also receiving first-class training from professional attorneys and legal practitioners.
The candidate will prepare for the Attorney's Admission Examinations by partaking in the in-house PLT Programme. Webber Wentzel will also provide various platforms that will connect them to established attorneys who will share their legal knowledge, wisdom as well as provide guidance and support during this programme.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be currently studying or have completed studies at a South African institution
- Must be completing an LLB Degree by January (at the beginning of the year that the contract begins)
- Must have a minimum academic aggregate of 65% (academic excellence)
