Clicks are inviting graduates to join the team, in the position of Trainee Manager. The candidate will train and manage all store, and once fit for the position, they will assist and support the store manager with their duties or take over during their absence.
 

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

  • Train and be suitable for managing all store departments, and thereafter be fit to assist the store manager in all departments and managing the store as and when required
  • Completely understand and be responsible for completing the Trainee Manager programme and ensuring self-readiness within 12 months
  • Attend theoretical training sessions in line with the Trainee Manager programme and implement the acquired knowledge and skills on a practical level, guided by the store manager
  • Setting an example for staff, showing strong management skills
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer care by being visible and helpful to customers at all times

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric
  • Must have passed Mathematics with a minimum of 50% and English with a minimum of 50% in Matric
  • Must have completed one of the following 3 year tertiary qualifications: BCom / Business Management / Retail Management / B.Business Science
  • Must have experience in retail or management (advantageous but not essential)
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must have strong communications skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong analysis and interpretation skills
  • Must have strong planning skills
  • Must be well organised
  • Must be able to deal with conflict management
  • Must have strong leadership skills
