DETAILS ABOUT THE GRADUATE PROGRAMME:

PWC is offering a Sustainability and Climate Change Assurance graduate programme that will commence in 2022. During the 3-year programme, candidates will be exposed to many service offerings within Sustainability and Climate Change, working with a multitude of clients and across many industries.

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

Ensuring economic impact assessments are performed
Investigating social returns on investments
Ensuring environmental accounting is performed
Ensuring climate change adaption and migration is conducted
Establishing strategies for the purpose of sustainable development
Determining financial provisioning for mine rehabilitation and closure
Drafting plans for asset retirement
Ensuring occupational health and safety risk, compliance, and performance is managed and assessed
Compiling reports that are integrated

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Must have completed a Bachelors of Commerce in one of these fields: Social Science (Economics/ Sociology/ Geography) or Environmental Science (Environmental Science/ Geographics/ Climate Science/ Geology) (preferably an Honours qualification)
Must have leadership capabilities
Must be knowledgeable about business/ have excellent business acumen
Must have technical and digital capabilities
Must be able to work with a diversity of people
Must be able to establish strong relationships with clients and teams
