AABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

The South African Bank Note Company (SABN), is a subsidiary of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). The SABN is a security printing company that uses modern-day, high-tech technology and machinery to print banknotes for the country whilst competing on a global scale. The company was established in 1958 by the South African government and joined forces with the Pretoria based company Bradbury Wilkinson and Company (which was later taken over by SARB.)
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Contract period: 12 months

SABN is offering an internship opportunity to a high performing Safety Management graduate. During the programme, the candidate will have the opportunity to gain new skills as well as practical work experience pertaining to health and safety management within the manufacturing industry. The programme consists mainly of on-the-job and practical training and will take place at SABN's head office in Pretoria for 12-months.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must have completed Matric (NSC)
  • Must have completed a National Diploma in Safety Management (minimum qualification)
  • Must have a minimum aggregate of 60%
