ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) was formed with the goal of facilitating the skills development needs within the Wholesale and Retail (W&R) Sector by way of learning programmes, grants and education and training.

The vision of W&RSETA is to become leaders in skills development in South Africa.
W&RSETA is one of 21 SETAs in the country - SETAs are entities of the Department of Higher Education and Training. Each SETA services a specific economic sector of the Country.
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Number of positions available:
- Supply Chain Management Internship: 3
- Finance Internship: 4

The W&RSETA are inviting graduate students to apply for Internship opportunities in the following departments: Supply Chain Management & Finance. During the course of the 12 month programme, students will gain exposure within their field of study.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Supply Chain Management Internship:

  • Must have completed Matric (NSC)
  • Must have completed a Bachelor Degree or National Diploma qualification in one of these fields: Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to work in MicroSoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Finance Internship:

  • Must have completed Matric (NSC)
  • Must have completed a Bachelor Degree or National Diploma qualification in one of these fields: Financial Management, Accounting or Cost Accounting
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to work in MicroSoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Please note:

  • The programme will run for 12 months only - the duration of the programme will not be extended
  • Successful applicants must sign a 12 months fixed term Internship contract
