DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: South Africa (all provinces)
Duration: 3-5 years

RCL FOOD is offering a Management Trainee/ Internship programme in the Industrial Engineering sector to talented graduates or final year students.

The programme equips the candidate with the necessary skills to develop in the industry as well as opportunities to keep them self-motivated and help them achieve their career goals. The candidate will be rotated between different areas of the business and sites, as well as be exposed to an environment that is fast-paced, accelerates their learning, develops their skill, and exposes them to the teachings and guidance of experienced mentors. The programme consists of both a practical induction and a building exposure component that exposed the candidate to Projects, Plant Maintenance, Sustainability, and more.
 

The end-goal of this programme is to allow the candidate to have the necessary knowledge to work within the senior levels of RCL FOODS and become a registered Professional Engineer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen or have permanent residence in South Africa
  • Must be in your final year OR have completed one of these Industrial Engineering qualifications: BEng/ BSc/ BTech
  • Must have excellent Tertiary academic results
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel)
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be goal-driven
  • Must have a good work ethic
  • Must be an analytical thinker
  • Must have excellent decision-making capabilities
  • Must be able to take initiative
  • Must be focused
  • Must be able to work well in a team
  • Must be willing to relocate
