DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Craighall, Gauteng
Duration: 12-months
Browns The Diamond Store is offering an internship opportunity to a dynamic, talented, and ambitious digital media designer. This programme is a 12-month paid internship for the role of Digital Media Designer.
Key performance areas of the programme:
- Managing and executing webs and visual design for multiple channels (apps, print, websites, banners, presentations, and social media)
- Creating videos of website material, apps, presentations, social media, marketing assets, print materials, and unique digital experiences
- Communicating with all professionals within the organisation
- Multitasking as well as self-management
- Working independently as well as collaborating with other departments and creatives
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Web Design/ Multimedia
- Must have a portfolio showcasing your creative concepts and experience within multiple industries
- Must have excellent and professional web design skills (advantageous)
- Must have experience and skill in Web Design (advantageous)
- Must have experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator XD
- Must have experience in video content editing and creation
- Must have excellent writing and editing capabilities
- Must have knowledge of webpage design and layout
- Must have knowledge of the fundamentals of design imaging
- Must have basic web design knowledge
- Must have experience in Multimedia Design, Animation, and digital marketing
- Must have graphic design skills (typography/ colour/ iconography/ graphic manipulation/ branding/ layout)
