ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:

The Department of Communication Safety and Transport Management's main aim is to ensure that crime prevention is effectively coordinated, traffic is managed, the provincial police are overseen and that road safety is maintained for the residents within the North West province.
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Mahikeng, North West
Duration: 12 months
Pay/Stipend: R3000 per month

The Department of Communication Safety and Transport Management is offering a Road Traffic Management learnership to the unemployed youth. The aim of this programme is to equip the candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge within the safety, communication, and transport sector.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must have completed Matric (NSC) or NCV L4 Certificate
  • Must be 18 to 35 years old
  • Must have a valid Driver's Licence
  • Must NOT have a criminal record
  • Must be medically fit and strong
  • Must NOT have recently been involved in another Public Service learnership

 

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE LEARNERSHIP POSITION:

To apply, complete a copy of the Z83 form (2021 version)

Attach the following documents to your application form:

  • An updated, comprehensive Curriculum Vitae with the names and contact details of at least 3 references
  • A copy of your South African Identity Document
  • A copy of your valid driver's license
  • A clearance certificate from SAPS
  • Original certified copies of all qualifications
  • A medical health certificate
  • Proof of residence from a Traditional Authority/ Municipality
