Life St Mary’s Hospital is located in Mthatha within the Eastern Cape, and provides top quality medical treatment to local patients in the area. The 147 bed hospital has 4 theatres and 14 different types of medical and surgical disciplines who consult with patients in this modern facility (including: Dermatology; ENT surgery; Family medicine; General surgery; Gynaecology; Internal medicine; Medical services; Neurosurgery; Obstetrics; Ophthalmology; Orthopaedic surgery; Paediatrics; Pathology; Radiology and Urology).

Location: Mthatha, Eastern Cape
Facility: Life St Mary's Private Hospital
Duration: 12 months
Start date: June 2021

Life Healthcare are offering Human Resource Management graduates, the chance to enter the internship programme at the Life St Mary's Private Hospital in Mthatha. Students who have completed an HRM degree or diploma may apply to take up the role of Human Resources Payroll intern.
 

The programme will commence in June 2021 and will allow learners to gain practical working experience in the field. The position reports to the Employee Services Payroll Manager and FPA, Petro Goddard.

Candidates will assist line managers and FPA on deliverables, whereby they will also gain valuable experience in these areas:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed a 3 year diploma or degree qualification in Human Resource Management
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must have NOT taken part in previous HWSETA internship programmes
  • Must have basic computer skills in Microsoft office programs
