Start date: Springs, Johannesburg, Gauteng: 1 July 2021 & Rosslyn, Johannesburg, Gauteng: 1 June 2021.

Nampak Bevcan are inviting candidates to apply for the position of Electrical Apprentice at 2 of their locations in Johannesburg (at Springs and Rosslyn). Students with a Matric, NTC or N3, and basic understanding of electrics should apply.

The programme will allow candidates to experience the following:

partake in intensive practical training and related training
complete all the required theoretical trade modules
obtain problems solving skills and trouble shooting skills
practically conduct maintenance and installations
follow plant rules and regulations
support the production process with sufficient levels of availability and reliability

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Nampak Apprentice: Electrical (Springs, Johannesburg, Gauteng):

Must have completed Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science OR must have completed an N3 with Electrical Engineering
Must have a basic understanding of electrics
Must be able to identify colours
Must have basic computer literacy skills
Must have good interpersonal skills
Must have good communication skills
Must have a positive attitude
Must be able to take initiative
Must be a team player
Must be organized and systematic
Must be able to work overtime and shifts when requested

Nampak Apprentice: Electrical (Rosslyn, Johannesburg, Gauteng)

Must have completed Matric with Mathematics and Science OR must have completed an NTC/N3 with relevant trade theory in Electrical Engineering
Must have a basic understanding of electrics
Must be able to identify colours for electrical trade
Must have basic computer literacy skills
Must have good interpersonal skills
Must have good communication skills
Must have a positive attitude
Must be able to take initiative
Must be a team player
Must be organized and systematic
Must be able to work overtime and shifts when requested
