DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Clockwork Media is offering a Traffic Operations internship. During the programme, the candidate will report to the Operations Director. Students must have completed Matric as a minimum and a tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
Key performance areas of the programme:
1) Working within a team:
- Ensuring that you collaborate with all business units, ensuring that company procedures are followed
- Providing assistance with work scoping and staff resourcing
2) Planning and organising:
- Providing assistance in production timing plans based on briefs to help decide deadlines
- Ensuring that all internal processes are efficient and that you utilise all resources
- Ensuring that you communicate and schedule the Operations Director’s availability correctly
3) Communication and reporting:
- Learning and showing that you have the ability to engage in ongoing communication with all production teams and Account Managers
- Ensuring that all operations reporting assistance is carried out when needed
4) Traffic and Operations:
- Providing assistance to staff members to meet agency briefs and standards
- Actively participate and contribute to Operational and Traffic presentations
- Ensuring that you compile and communicate an internal resource list with availability to staff members
- Ensuring that each team member is enabled to determine their workload
- Participating and learning to document and liaising all freelance work
- Providing assistance in the monitoring of income debriefs/ briefs and assigning them to the correct individuals based on client requirements
- Ensuring that you train and maintain the company processes and systems
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must have completed Matric (NSC)
- Must have a tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Must have an interest in Marketing, Advertising, and/or Communications
- Must be self-driven
- Must be conscientious
- Must be highly organised
- Must have excellent organisation skills
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must be able to maintain company processes and systems independently
- Must have high attention to detail
- Must be adaptable and flexible
- Must have excellent problem-solving capabilities
