ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:
Umbuso Training Services is a training provider registered with Umalusi and the Department of Higher education and Training (2011/FE07/074). Umbuso Training Services is fully accredited with FP & M SETA (Fibre Processing and Manufacturing SETA), CATHS SETA (Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector SETA), Food and Beverage Seta (FoodBev Seta) and program approval with LG SETA (Local Government SETA), We are involved in training, capacity building projects, facilitation programs, institutional & social development programs.
UTS was incorporated in 2006 with the vision to be a vehicle for the much-needed socio-economic change. With the desire to teach the masses on how to harness and use the raw talent of this earth, UTS has developed policies and procedures which are not only relevant but forward looking and ever being challenged to bring out the best of each project, community and eventually the nation.
DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Klerksdorp (Matlosana), North West
Duration: 12 months
Salary: monthly stipend
Umbuso Training Services, partnered with Fibre Processing and Manufacturing (FP&M) SETA, is offering a learnership opportunity to students with Matric. Candidates living with disabilities may also apply.
The 12 month learnership programme will allow candidates to gain working experience, and on completion, a National Certificate: Forestry: Silviculture (NQF level 3).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be in possession of a valid South African ID document
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be unemployed
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
- Must be a resident of Klerksdorp (Matlosana)
- Must NOT be taking part in any other learnership programme
- Must be willing to commit to the full duration of the learnership programme
- Must have an excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Candidates with disabilities may apply
