The company aims to empower young job seekers and future leaders, by offering a set of programmes and support services to counter the effect of poverty and inequality for each young person that comes through their doors.
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Locations: Cape Town, Western Cape and Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

Afrika Tikkun Services is inviting youth from Cape Town and Durban, living with disabilities, to take part in the Freight Forwarding Learnership programme. The programme will allow candidates to gain knowledge and practical experience of the Freight forwading industry. After completing the programme, candidates will receive a Freight Forwarding and Customs (NQF level 4).
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric (NSC)
  • Must be 29 years old or younger
  • Must reside in Durban or Cape Town
  • Must be living with disability
  • Advantageous: a relevant qualification
  • Advantageous: previous working experience
  • Must be interested in in Freight Forwarding and a career in the industry
  • Must enjoy the harbour environment
  • Must be customer focused
  • Must be friendly and approachable
  • Must be well spoken
  • Must be a hard worker
