DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Number of positions available: 30
Rand Water is inviting the youth (aged 18 to 35), from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, to apply for the NQF level 2 Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Operations Learnership, located at Rietvlei. This programme is open to individuals residing in Gauteng, with Matric, who meet the necessary requirements. During this programme, the candidates will be exposed to Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must possess a valid South African Identity Document
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
- Must reside within Gauteng
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
- Must have passed Mathematics and Science, with a minimum of level 4, in Matric
- Must have a minimum of Level-4 in all Matric/ Grade 12 subjects
- Must be unemployed
- Must NOT be registered at a tertiary institution for any qualification
- Must NOT be enrolled in any other learnership programme
- Must have knowledge of the Rand water mandate and the contribution it makes to the water sector
- Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be goal-driven
