DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMMES:
Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Duration: 12 months

Essity is offering a 12-month Learnership opportunity to candidates interested in working in the Manufacturing industry. The programme will focus on the various departments within Essity at its manufacturing plant in Pinetown. The departments that the candidates will explore and learn about are factory, warehouse, supply chain, quality, warehouse, and more.
The aim of the learnership programme is to enhance the skills of the candidates and allow them to grow both personally and professionally. The candidate's roles and responsibilities will be based on department placement as well as the relevant focus area of learning and development; they will also receive mentorship throughout the duration of the programme.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
- Advantageous: completed a tertiary qualification in any of these fields: Project Management, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Administration, Analytical Chemistry, or Industrial Engineering (advantageous but essential)
- Must not be employed on a full-time basis (for more than 1-year)
- Must show proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be eager to work in the production environment
- Must be energetic
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to handle multifaceted situations
- Must be committed to excellence
