DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

CBI-electric is offering a learnership opportunity to candidates wanting to pursue a career in the Cable Manufacturing Industry. The aim of this learnership programme is to equip the candidate with the necessary practical skills and knowledge needed in the workplace- as such majority of the learning time spent in the programme will consist of practical work.
 

The candidate will be working alongside professional and experienced operators of the different mechanics used in cable manufacturing. The candidate will also engage in rotation between various departments within the factory, making the most of their learning experience.

The candidate will be required to complete the programme with an NQF-2 by the end of September 2022 and will obtain a National Certificate in Power and Telecommunication cable manufacturing upon successful completion of the programme.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
  • Must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 50% for Mathematics and Physical Science in Matric
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old (preferable)
