DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Amanzimtoti/ Umbogintwini, KwaZulu-Natal
Duration: 12 months

The Volvo Group is offering a learnership opportunity to youth who are energetic, passionate and keen to follow a career within the Truck Manufacturing Industry. The programme will allow learners to acquire knowledge understanding of all the underlying principles regarding the major areas related to distribution within the Warehouse & Logistics Industry.

Learners will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme, and after completion, will receive a Production Technology Warehousing NQF2 qualification.

The learnership programme is made up of these modules:

Starting the shift
Workstation handover
Production
Ending the shift
Introduction to warehousing

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must be a South African Citizen
Must be under 35 years old
Must have completed Matric
Must have passed Mathematics in Matric
Must have passed Science in Matric
Must be unemployed
Must be able to communicate in English
Must have good communication skills - both written and verbal
Must have NOT taken part in any previous learnership programmes
Must be committed to completing the 12 month programme
