Truworths is offering PWD Stores Learnership opportunities, at stores across South Africa. The aim of the learnership is to cross train candidates – allowing them to operate in-store, on the sales floor and the service desk, of a retail outlet. The focus of the learnership will be working with customers and stock.
Learners will be required to:
- Complete logbooks
- Be prepared for assessments
- Be competent as a crossed trained sales consultant
- Work 120 hours
- Learn and form knowledge
- Prepare for Assessments
- Assist customers with finding merchandise
- Merchandising the store according to the MBP principles
- Payments and purchases on the POS system
- Opening new accounts
- Maintaining or controlling stock losses
- Building relationships with customers
- Maintaining customer security and safety
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Grade 10 (minimum)
- Must be passionate about retail and fashion
- Must be able to deal with customers
- Must be committed to completing the programme
