ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
The South African State Theatre is located in the capital city of South Africa: Pretoria and was previously known as the Pretoria State Theatre, until 1999. It is the largest theatre complex in Africa, which was designed to showcase every genre of arts and houses a complete range of industry support services under one roof.
The South African State Theatre is a agency of the Department of Arts and Culture (DAC), who is committed to transforming the delivery of sports, arts and culture by ensuring equitable access, development and excellence at all levels of participation and to harness the socio-economic contributions that can create a better life for all South Africans.
DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Tshwane, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Stipend: R6 000 per month
The South African State Theatre is offering an Internship opportunity to graduates with a qualification in: Performing Art (Lighting), Arts Administration/ Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Resources or Supply Chain Management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed a Degree or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in either of these fields: Performing Art (Lighting), Arts Administration/ Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Resources or Supply Chain Management
- Must be willing to complete the 12 month programme
