ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP:

Tourism KwaZulu-Natal (TKZN) is responsible for the development, promotion and marketing of tourism into and within the province.

The organisations mission is to initiate, facilitate, coordinate and implement strategic tourism marketing and demand-driven tourism development programmes; to grow tourism, transform of the province’s tourism sector and provide economic benefits to all stakeholders.
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: KwaZulu-Natal
Duration: 12 months
Stipend: R6 083 per month

Tourism KwaZulu-Natal is offering various internship opportunities to graduates within the province.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

• Must reside in KwaZulu-Natal province
• Must be between the 18 and 35. years of age
• Must be unemployed
• Must have completed a Degree or 3 year National Diploma in any of these fields:
  • Bachelor of Heritage & Tourism Studies
  • Bachelor of Social Sciences (Postgraduate)
  • Corporate Governance / Public Management
  • Cost & Management Accounting
  • Financial Accounting
  • Graphic Design
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Marketing
  • Office Management
  • Public Relations / Communications
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Tourism Development
  • Tourism Information Services
