DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng (Head Office)
Duration: 12 months
Business Unit: Human Resources Management and Development

The Public Protector South Africa is offering an Internship Programme opportunity to unemployed graduates. Interns will receive practical on-the-job development training that will benefit them when entering the formal job market.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6 or 7) in Human Resources Management
  • Must have completed your qualification at an accredited institution of Higher Learning
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must NOT have participated in any previous Internship programmes

Attach the following documents to your application:

  • Certified copy of your Identity Document
  • Certified copy of Matric certificate
  • Certified copy of tertiary academic qualification and academic transcripts (academic record)
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae

 

Please note:

  • Candidates will be selected in terms of the Public Protector Act and successful candidates will be required to sign the secrecy declaration form when starting the position.
  • All candidates will be subject to verification and pre-screening process before final selection is made.
  • Applicants who do not reside within the area of the position ( Pretoria, Gauteng) must be willing and able to find their own accommodation and transport.
  • Applicants who do not submit all of the required documents will not be considered.
  • Applicants must make themselves available for assessments and selection interviews – the time, date and place will be determined by the Public Protector South Africa.
  • Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) – this is the applicants responsibility.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will receive feedback.
  • The Public Protector South Africa reserves the right not to make an appointment.
