South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR) is offering Internship opportunities to high-achieving graduates. The Chief Executive Officer of the SADPMR invites self-motivated qualified graduates to join the organisation, for a chance to stand out in their field.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between the age of 18 and 35 years old
- Must be a graduate and have completed one of the qualifications as listed below
- Government Diamond Valuator Internship: must have completed a Degree / National Diploma in Geology or a related field
- Precious Metals and Beneficiation Internship: must have completed a Degree / National Diploma in Public Management or Administration
- Diamond Exchange and Export Centre Internship: must have completed a Degree / National Diploma in Public Administration
- Diamond Inspectorate Internship: must have completed a BSc Statistics / Degree / National Diploma in Public Management or Administration
- Licensing Internship: must have completed a Degree / National Diploma in Para Legal, Legal Assistance or Public Administration
- Legal Services Internship: must have completed a LLB qualification
- Office of the Chief Financial Officer Internship: must have completed a Degree / National Diploma / National Higher Diploma / Post Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s
Degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement, Logistics Management or Business Management - Information & Communication Technology Internship: must have completed a BSc Computer Science / National Diploma / BTech in IT
- Internal Auditing Internship: must have completed a BCom Accounting / National Diploma / BTech in Internal Auditing
- Communications Internship: must have completed a Degree in Communication Science or Diploma / BTech in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism
or a related field

The South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR), established in terms of Section 3 of the Diamonds Amendment Act, 2005 (Act 29 of 2005), aims to regulate the downstream diamond and precious metals industries to ensure equitable access to the diamond and precious metals resources of the Republic.
