DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: House of WesBank, Fairland, Randburg, Gauteng

WesBank is offering a Youth Development Learnership opportunity to candidates interested in completing a formal, registered qualification while gaining work experience.

The development programme will allow for the learner to take responsibility for delivering tasks in order to execute predefined work objectives such as research, analysis, administration, process and project work that add value to the business area. The Learner will be expected to fulfil all the requirements of the qualification. Additional work-related training will be provided a required.
 

Duties and responsibilities of the programme:

  • Contributing to cost efficiencies
  • Ensuring operational excellence via delivery of work processes according to defined quality standards
  • Engaging in activities for own development
  • Contributing to teamwork
  • Optimising work through the application of learning experiences
  • Delivering customer service through adherence to quality service standards

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric
  • Preferable: have completed a post-Matric qualification (NQF levels 4 - 6)
  • Must have been unemployed for at least the last 6 months
  • Must have no or little work experience (total of less than 12 months work experience and/or of a part-time, casual nature)
  • Must be your first job experience
  • Must NOT have participated in the FirstJob programme at any of the FirstRand franchises, and not worked for FirstRand before
