DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
The SACSSP is offering an internship opportunities to unemployed graduates. The programme will run for 12 months and will be in the following areas/ fields:
- Communications and Public Relations Internship
- Education, Training, and Development Internship
- Finance Internship
- Information Technology Internship
- Professional Conduct Internship
- Registrations Internship
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be a graduate
- Must be unemployed
- Must have completed one of these qualifications:
- Communications and Public Relations Internship: Diploma or Degree in Communications and Public Relations
- Education, Training, and Development Internship: Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Care or a Bachelor of Social Work
- Finance Internship: Diploma or Degree in Financial Management
- Information Technology Internship: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
- Professional Conduct Internship: Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Care or Paralegal or Diploma in LAW or LLB or Bachelor of Social Work
- Registrations Internship: Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Care or a Bachelor of Social Work

ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP:
The South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) is a statutory body, established under the Social Service Professions Act. The SACCP conducts its work with legal support and aid from the Professional Board for Social Work and Professional Board for Child and Youth Care Work. Together, the council and its two boards supervise Social, Social Auxiliary, and Child and Youth Care work within South Africa. All professionals in these fields must register with the SACSSP before beginning their practice to ensure they are legally protected.
