DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Parktown, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Start date: August 2022
Psybergate is offering an internship opportunity to a passionate and young individual looking to pursue a career in Software Development. This 12-month programme will hone in on the candidate's skills and abilities they have acquired during their time and studies in university.
During the initial 4-6 months, the candidate will be mentored by professional software developers, learn key programming principles, and how to enhance their skills in Java and JEE/Spring.
The candidate will also receive extensive programming experience and adequate feedback to help prepare and create real-world enterprise solutions for customers. This will be useful the candidate second half of the programme: being deployed to your first project.
Interns will receive the following benefits:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed a Bachelor's/ Honour's/ Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Must be passionate about Software Development
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must have excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Must be determined

Please note: Candidates will be required to undergo a proprietary assessment test before being selected for the programme. This test will include coding, problem-solving, and general knowledge. The candidate will be required to problem solve, write code, respond to cross-examination questions on their code, conduct a personal interview, and engage in an aptitude test.
