ABOUT THE COMPANY
Glencore is a natural resource commodity company with operations in many countries across the globe. Their products include coal, oil, copper, nickel, zinc, lead, aluminimum and ferro alloys.
ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP
Glencore are awarding learnerships to students to undergo training at their Rustenburg plant. At the end of the programme, students will be able to qualify as Artisans in the following areas:
- Millwright
- Instrumentation
- Rigging
The learnership programme objective is for students to enter into the engineering learnership with MQA SETA.
Applicants must undergo a psychometric assessment or an aptitude test, as well as practical training, institutional training and exposure.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Candidates interested in applying for this learnership position should ensure that they meet the following criteria - failure to meet ALL of these requirements will result in your application being denied.
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Completed an N2 qualification
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the HSEC system
- Medically fit
