DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Granger Bay, Cape Town, Western Cape
Duration: between 2 and 4 months
Salary: R4 000 to R6 000 CTC per-month
Brand Influence is offering an internship opportunity for the role of Community Manager. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in the digital space of influencer marketing and become part of the Brand Influence team, responsible for managing two influencer platforms: Beauty Bulletin and Brand Advisor.
The candidate will learn how to understand the strategic needs of Brand Influence's clients' brands as well as create influencer briefs, select trial teams, and drive projects into viral conversations by communicating with audiences and influencers.
This internship opportunity will commence immediately and will take place from 09h00 to 17h00 in Brand Influence's office.
Key performance areas of the programme:
- Using the client's brief to create Influencer-driven communication solutions
- Ensuring the correct and targeted Influencer trial teams are selected for each project
- Emailing and phoning community members, Influencers, and advisors daily
- Engaging continuously in all Influencer social content (such as moderating, conversations, likes, retweets, inquiries, shares, moderating, comments, and responding to fans/ followers)
- Ensuring all Influencer content and statistics are downloaded
- Aiding in creating final reports from social media and community
- Helping the community grow and researching nano to micro-influencers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

- Must have completed Matric
- Must be studying Marketing or Public Relations
- Advantageous: knowledge of Social Media Reporting
- Advantageous: knowledge of SEO
- Must have strong administrative skills
- Must have excellent writing skills
- Must have professional and confident telephone etiquette
- Must be computer and digitally literate
- Must have excellent spoken English
- Must be passionate about understanding influencer marketing, Millennials, GenZ, and social trends
- Must be dynamic
- Must have excellent digital and technological skills
- Must be systems orientated and highly organised
- Must be highly motivated
- Must have high attention to detail
- Must be able to work well independently and within a team
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must be disciplined
