Puma is offering a P&O Administrator Internship opportunity to recent graduates who are energetic, ambitious, and looking to develop their career in Human Resources. Puma is looking for a graduate who is hard working, eager, and passionate about HR, to join their HR team at the Head Office in Cape Town.
The intern will receive exposure to a broad range of HR activities and general office management. The intern will join a supportive and energetic HR team who aspires to create a challenging work environment.
Responsibilities and duties of the programme:
Provident Fund:
- Sending all joining and withdrawal forms for Provident Fund to Service Provider.
- Following up on ex-employees who failed to returned their provident fund withdrawal forms.
Recruitment:
- Conducting reference and credit checks for retail store staff. Conducting references on shortlisted candidates. Arranging interviews with parties involved. Regretting unsuccessful candidates
- Drafting employment contracts and collecting all payroll forms for new starters.
Admin:
- Resetting workday passwords
- Creating employee folders and filing relevant documents
- Minute taking in meetings & distributing minutes and follow up points.
- Collating survey information
Learning:
- Identifying learning modules on Workday for our various learning quarters
- Assisting Retail Trainer with L&D administration and communication
Projects:
- Assist with any project administration on specific projects
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

- Must have recently completed a Human Resources qualification
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office
- Must be detail orientated
- Must be energetic
- Must have a positive attitude
