Location: Cape Town, Western Cape/ Remote
Stipend: R6 000
Duration: 12 months
Webafrica is offering an Internship opportunity, for an administrative role within their Provisioning department. Webafrica is looking to provide opportunities for school leavers to join the ICT and technology sectors. Candidates who are tenacious, hungry, and looking to get their foot in the door to the most exciting industry yet, should apply.
After the internship is complete, candidates may be offered permanent employment at Webafrica.
Duties and responsibilities:
This intern will assist the team in ensuring that customers are provisioned for their connectivity services purchased from Webafrica. Candidates will receive the necessary training to carry out their duties and will have a Mentor that will assist them throughout their journey. Candidates will also have the opportunity to learn tech skills during the internship.
Interns will work remotely, therefore they will need a fibre connection – if you are a customer of Webafrica at the time of application, Webafrica will cover the cost of your connectivity.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
- Must have completed a relevant qualification
- Must have achieved a minimum B symbol for English HG and Mathematics HG in Matric
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a fibre connection or you must be a current Webafrica customer
