DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Lichtenburg, North West
Duration: 1 year
NWK Limited is offering a learnership opportunity to matriculants who are interested in learning about programming and working within the NWK operational system.
The learner will receive on-the-job training, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Creating and developing a graphical interface in collaboration with PHP or natural programmers for the NWK operating system. (no knowledge of system is required)
- Developing PHP or natural programmes according to NWK's existing framework
- Writing web-based programmes
- Testing developed systems
- Implementing systems and providing relevant training to users
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must be currently unemployed
- Preference will be given to learners who completed these subjects in high school: Maths, Accountancy and Computer Studies
- Must be self-motivated and driven to achieve excellence
- Must be eager to learn
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Must pay close attention to details
- Must have good problem-solving capabilities
- Must have good mathematical skills

- Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete the NWK computer programming aptitude test, before being selected.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview.
