AECI Mining Chemicals is inviting candidates with Matric or N3 Certificate, to apply for the Underground Mining Learnership. The learnership will take place at various locations in South Africa.
The aim of the programme is to:
- Gain training, knowledge and understating of all relevant Underground Mining procedures.
- Gain understanding of compliance with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation.
- Gain understanding of compliance with SETA requirements in relation to Learnership program.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric (NSC) with Mathematics and Science as subjects
- OR
- Must have completed an N3 Certificate with 5 subjects: Business English, Engineering Science, Mathematics, and any other 2 subjects
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have good problem solving skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must have strong in organisation and planning skills
- Must pay close attention to detail
