DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Northern Cape
AfriSam South Africa is inviting candidates with an N2 Engineering qualification, to apply for the Fitter and Electrician Learnership programme, at their Ulco Cement Operation.
Candidates will receive training, guided by the Maintenance Team Leader, and after completion will qualify in an artisan trade. Candidates will enter into a fixed-term contract.
The learnership programme will include:
1) On-the-job practical training - in order to ensure that learners get sufficient exposure to maintenance practices and mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment.
2) Off-the-job theoretical training at a selected Technical Training Centre.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must reside near the Ulco Cement Operation operation, or be willing to relocate
- Must have completed an N2 qualification in Engineering studies
- Must be interested in partaking in a Fitter and Electrician Learnership
- Must be committed to complete the learnership programme
- Must be interested in a career in an artisan trade
