Locations: Limpopo & Gauteng
Duration: 12 months

Anglo American Platinum is offering various Internships within their Human Resources and Mining Departments. Anglo American's Mogalakwena Complex, Amandelbult Complex, and Polokwane Metallurgical Complex are offering these internships, along with a P1/ P2 programme.

The aim of these programmes is to ensure that members of the various communities receive the necessary practical work experience they need to flourish in the mining sector.

The following Internship positions are available:
1) Mine Survey Internship - Location: Thabazimbi, Limpopo
2) Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Internship – Location: Mokopane, Limpopo
3) Metallurgical Engineering and Chemical Engineering Internship – Location: Krugersdorp, Gauteng
4) Geology and Mining Engineering Internship – Location: Chromite
5) Safety, Health and Environment Internship – Location: Amandelbult, Limpopo
6) Finance Internship – Location: Chromite
7) Human Resource Management Internship – Location: Chromite
8) Supply Chain Internship – Location: Thabazimbi, Limpopo
9) Information Management Internship – Location: Thabazimbi, Limpopo
10) Social Performance Internship – Location: Thabazimbi, Limpopo

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
Mine Survey Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma qualification in Mine Survey or Mineral Survey
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in one of these fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (heavy current) or Electromechanical Engineering
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Metallurgical Engineering and Chemical Engineering Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Geology and Mining Engineering Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Geology or Mining Engineering
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Safety, Health and Environment Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in one of these fields: Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene or BTech Safety Management
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Finance Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or BCom Degree qualification in Finance or Accounting
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Human Resource Management Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Human Resource Management
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Supply Chain Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Supply Chain
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Information Management Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Information Management
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)

Social Performance Internship:

Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Social Science
Must have successfully completed S4 for a mining-related qualification (In-service training P1/P2)
