Location: Soweto, Gauteng

AVBOB is offering a Telemarketer Graduate Programme in the Insurance and Marketing industry.
During this programme, the main functions of the role will be marketing and sales. AVBOB have partnered with the YES initiative to offer this opportunity to youth with excellent results and a keen interest in finance and sales.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must be a South African Citizen
Must have completed Matric with Mathematics and Accounting as subjects
Must have obtained a 3-year qualification from a recognised TVET College or public institution
Must have a FAIS recognised and RE 5 qualification (advantageous)
Must be under 35 years-old
Must be unemployed
Must have an excellent command of/ be fluent in the English language (written and oral communication)
Must be fluent in an African language (advantageous)
Must have excellent computer skills and the proven ability to work in a PC
Must have data capturing and report writing skills
Must have a history of excellent client and customer care
Must have sales experience (advantageous)
Must have knowledge of successful sales techniques
Must have an excellent telephone etiquette
Must be driven by sales and targets
Must be able to plan effectively and be highly organised
Must have commercial awareness
Must be innovative and a problem solver
Must be persuasive
Must have excellent interpersonal capabilities
Must be flexible, accurate, and resilient
