DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Sandton, Gauteng
Duration: 24 months
AVI Ltd is offering an Internship opportunity for an HR graduate to join the team. The position will start in January 2023 and runs for 24 months on a fixed-term contract.
The AVI-Graduate Programme incorporates a holistic experience of technical, leadership, business development, mentorship and practical experience. As one of our Graduates, you will be exposed to a host of diverse corporate situations spanning from key improvement projects, CSI Initiatives, skills training and behavioural development. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed a BCom Honours in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology
- Must have achieved a minimum average of 70% in the final year of studies
- Must have sound analytical ability
- Must have MS Office skills (specifically Excel)
- Any vacation experience or part-time work would be ideal
- Must demonstrate leadership skills
- Must have a strong desire to learn and grow
- Must be an analytical thinker that focuses on finding solutions to problems, effectively gathering and analysing information by asking probing questions and thinking things through
- Must be able to build and strengthen mutually beneficial partnerships with others both internal and external to the business
- Must collaborate with others by involving, listening and encouraging others to contribute to the decision-making process as far as possible
- Must be reliable and complete your work in accordance with the agreed-upon timelines
- Must consistently produce high-quality work by being meticulous and continually checking the detail of your work
- Must work smart by planning and prioritising your tasks effectively
- Must things the right way and honour commitments made to members within and outside of the organisation
- Must be energetic and take the initiative to get things started and make things happen
