ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

The Banking Sector Education and Training Authority (BANKSETA) assists in the transformation of the broader banking/microfinance sector and skills development. BANKSETA aims to alleviate unemployment by providing individuals with partnership and skills development opportunities. Owing to skills development being recognised as a major need in South Africa, BANKSETA puts their attention on youth/adult education, SME'S and continuous professional development and research.
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: All Provinces in South Africa
Duration: 1 year
Monthly Allowance: R 4300

BANKSETA is offering a Learnership programme within the Banking and Alternative Banking sector, to graduate students, known as the Kuyasa Learnership: Generic Management. The programme will last for 1 year and will expose the candidate to workplace experience. Upon successful completion of the programme, the candidate will be granted an NQF5 qualification relevant to the banking sector.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must have completed a 3-year Tertiary qualification in one of these fields: Actuary/ Economics/ Commerce/ Communications/ Financial Accounting/ Financial Management/ Human Resources/ Informatics/ Information Systems/ Information Technology/ Law/ Marketing/ Risk Management/ Statistics
  • Must NOT have a criminal record
  • Must have a clear credit
  • As of 1 July 2021, must be under the age of 35
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must NOT be participating in any other learnership programme
  • Must not be partaking in studies from 1 July 2021- 30 June 2022
  • Must have an excellent command of the English language (written and oral)
