DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Duration: 12 months
Pay/ Stipend: R4000 to R5000 per month

Bolton Footwear is offering a Marketing Internship opportunity, to allow qualified graduates to gain experience within the field. During this SETA internship programme, the candidate will be part of the marketing team and provide support and assistance in creating recognisable brand awareness.
 

Key performance areas of the programme:

  • Helping in creating the company's newsletter
  • Communicating with media companies with regards to promoting brands
  • Assisting the admin department daily to ensure that department activities run smoothly
  • Gathering and analysing important data by using marketing analytics techniques (such as social media, rankings, web analytics, and more)
  • Ensuring databases, spreadsheets, and inventories are updated with statistical, functional, and non-functional information
  • Providing feedback and monitoring Bolton Footwear websites and social media accounts

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed a National Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • Must be computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Must have a broad understanding of brand building
  • Must have a broad understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Advantageous: experience in market research techniques
  • Advantageous: experience in and knowledge of databases
  • Must have broad knowledge and an understanding of how to manage social media platforms
  • Must have basic digital marketing knowledge
