Location: Blairgowrie, Randburg, Gauteng
Salary: Market related

Browns The Diamond Store are inviting students who have completed Matric to apply for the position of Jewellery Production Intern. No experience is required for the role – only an appreciation for fine jewellery and luxury, and an interest in learning about the fine art of making jewellery.

Interns will receive training and practical work experience, learning about the stages of the jewellery manufacturing processes, the opportunity to specialise in a certain area and skills needed to succeed within the jewellery industry. Once the programme is complete, students will be offered full-time employment at the company.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must be a s South African citizen
Must be residing in Johannesburg
Must be between 18 and 24 years old
Must have completed Matric
Must have achieved a minimum average of 65% in Matric
Must have little or no experience
Must be currently unemployed
Must have an appreciation for fine jewellery and luxury
Must be highly organised
Must be able to complete tasks both efficiently and effectively
Must be dedicated
Must be willing to learn and grow
