Internships are for students who have either completed their degree or diploma studies, or are currently studying. Internships offer students the opportunity to gain practical experience, which may be a requirement for completion of their qualification.

An internship can be paid or unpaid, but in both cases it provides the student with invaluable knowledge and practical experience within their area of study, which are generally not attainable when studying at University or College. Some of the skills you can expect to acquire with an internship programme include: understanding of the working environment, real world practical experience and a chance to build relationships with potential employers.
