DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Contract period: 12 months

Deloitte is offering a Talent Acquisition internship to HR graduates, that will run for a 12-month period. The main purpose of the programme is to equip the candidate with the necessary skills needed to coordinate the Experienced Hires recruitment process. The main responsibility of the role is to ensure that Business Representatives, candidates, as well as Talent Advisors are given the necessary information/material at the right time.
 

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

  • Ensuring that communication is maintained by gaining an understanding of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Ensuring that all candidates interactions with the firm (such as Business Interviews, Case Studies, Talent Advisor Interviews, and Psychometrics) are scheduled correctly
  • Ensuring that all policies and procedures that form part of the recruitment process are followed
  • Taking full accountability and responsibility for the integrity of system data in their part of the process
  • Ensuring that coordination of all legal and background checks are completed on time
  • Ensuring that a first-class service is kept during all interactions with candidates (such as during Deloitte's interactions, in the presenting and preparing of interview packs, and whilst presenting and preparing case study material)
  • Ensuring that all interactions with stakeholders are professional and that they are provided with your full attention and gain a feeling of connection
  • Ensuring that resolution of queries are managed in relation to their function
  • Using Smartrecruiters, LinkedIn, CarreerJunction, etc. to screen and shortlist CV's
  • Conducting first line telephonic screening interviews with applicants
  • Ensuring that interviews between candidates and line management are scheduled and confirmed
  • Accompanying talent advisors to interviews
  • Ensuring that correspondence with potential candidates is documented
  • Ensuring that documents pertaining to successful candidates are completed in line with the company's requirements and policies
  • Ensuring that all communication for new employee(s) are coordinated before the start date
  • Ensuring that the recruitment shared folder is updated and prepared by using the relevant applicant information and documentation required by Recruitment policy and EE requirements
  • Screening and providing assistance with Grad assessment

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must have completed a 3 year Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources Management (minimum requirement)
  • Must have completed a 3 year Degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology (preferable)
  • Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Must be highly organised
  • Must be focused on delivering end results
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to build strong relationships
  • Must have excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Must have sound business acumen
