DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Duration: 12-months

Distell Ltd is offering a temporary Learning and Development Internship to candidates in their final year of studies.
The aim of the programme is to expose the candidate to practical and In-Service Training that will aid them in achieving their qualification. The programme will commence from 1 May 2021 until 30 April 2022.
 

Key performance areas of the programme:

  • Ensuring that the Learning Management System (LMS) is administrated
  • Providing assistance in the testing and development of eLearning courses
  • Aiding in the development of a digital learning culture
  • Proving staff with assistance in performance management processes (e.g. development and career plans)
  • Engaging in new employee on-boarding
  • Partaking in training programmes, both internal and external
  • Ensuring relationships with external service providers are built and maintained
  • Ensuring that the supplier management platform is facilitated
  • Performing Human Resources Administrative Tasks (e.g. dashboards and reports)
  • Performing service delivery to all internal stakeholders

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be currently completing an Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources Development/ Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology
  • Must have excellent computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must have knowledge/ previous exposure to eLearning courses (advantageous)
  • Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must require in-service training to complete your curriculum
  • Must have an analytical thinker
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Must be eager to learn
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • Must be proactive
  • Must be energetic
