DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Benoni, Gauteng
Duration: 6 months
Dynamic Fluid Control is offering an internship position in their Engineering department.
During the programme, the candidate will be responsible for data collection on a timely basis. The candidate will also provide assistance in the implementation of Business Improvement initiatives, strategies, methodologies as well as associated technologies and techniques to ensure cost reductions are delivered and improvements are made.
Key Performance Areas of the Programme:
- Providing effective analytical and improvement support for the purpose of improving business functions
- Ensuring that strong improvement insight and skills into key development operations and functions are maintained
- Ensuring that you maintain add value to Business Improvement projects, strategies, and ideas
- Ensuring that you build and maintain a strong relationship with Business Improvement stakeholders
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be currently studying towards a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Industrial Engineering
- Must have theoretical knowledge of project management
- Must have theoretical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, the '5S' implementation as well as generating of process flow
- Must have knowledge and understanding of Business Improvement principles
- Must have innovative ideas and the know-how of how to execute them
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must have excellent business judgement
- Must be adaptable
- Must be goal and deadline-driven
- Must be highly organised
- Must have excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Must be approachable
- Must have excellent leadership capabilities
