ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE TRAINING:
Eskom are the only electricity producing company in South Africa, producing approximately 95% of the countries power and approximately 45% of the power in Africa. Eskom are responsible for generating, transmitting and distributing electricity to commercial, industrial, agricultural, mining and residential customers, as well as to redistributors.

- Free State: 5 positions
- Gauteng: 5 positions
- KwaZulu-Natal: 5 positions
- Limpopo: 5 positions
- Mpumalanga: 5 positions
- North West: 6 positions
- Northern Cape: 8 positions
- Western Cape: 5 positions
Duration: 3 years
Eskom is offering Artisan Training Programme Opportunities within various Departments in the Electrical discipline. The 3-year Training Programme will allow candidates to gain theoretical and practical on-job training, as well as the opportunity to attain Trade Test certificate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have achived either of the following:
- Completed Matric with a minimum of 50% for Mathematics, minimum of 50% for Physical Science and minimum of 40% for English
- Completed N3 Engineering with a minimum of 50% for Mathematics, minimum of 50% for Physical Science and minimum of 40% for English
- Completed NCV Level 4 with a 50% for Mathematics, minimum of 50% for Physical Science and minimum of 40% for English
- Must be computer literate
- Must have strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Must be conscientious
- Must be self-disciplined
- Must be motivated and highly driven
- Must be emotionally resilient
- Must be sfety conscious
- Must be responsible and committed
