eThekwini Municipality is a Category-A municipality, located in KwaZulu-Natal. Ethekwini is the largest city within the province and is the 3rd largest city within South Africa with more than 3 000 000 inhabitants. The cosmopolitan city is home to Africa's best managed and busiest port and is also a major tourist hub with its alluring beaches, gorges and ravines, and warm subtropical weather.
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: eThekwini, KwaZulu-Natal
Duration: 12 months

The eThekwini Municipality is offering an Information and Communications Technology in Interactive Media learnership opportunity, to unemployed candidates within the region.

The eThekwini Municipality, partnered with Communications invites applicants to join the NQF5 learnership programme. Candidates will report to the Project Manager.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must reside within the eThekwini Municipality area
  • Must be passionate or interested in the Information and Communications Technology/ Interactive Media field
  • Must have NOT taken part in any previous similar development programmes
  • Candidates living disability are encouraged to apply
