DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

DHL is offering a graduate internship opportunity as part of their G100 programme with the aim of helping candidates develop their skills in logistics in Mainland Europe, Middle East & Africa (MLEMEA). The candidate will gain both functional and operational experience in a project-oriented position whilst interacting with individuals in the organisation. The internship will also provide candidates with the opportunity to learn skills and gain support from tutors or 'buddies' in the programme. Candidates will also be rewarded for their hard work and become better equipped to provide excellent service to customers.

DHL also provides 'divisional leadership programmes and training curricula' with the aim to meet certain needs for development. These training opportunities aim to provide knowledge pertaining to health and safety, skills, language, and soft-skills training/courses.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Education requirement: must have completed a Degree in Industrial Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering); Business; Administration; Finance and Legal (Bachelor of Commerce or LLB)
  • Must be residing in Johannesburg
  • Must be under the age of 25
  • Must have an interest in Supply Chain; Project Management; Logistics and Transport
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work well with others
  • Must have excellent organisational skills
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be energetic
  • Must be goal-orientated
