Molenaar has a manufacturing site based in Paarl which employs many technicians and professionals, training them in machinery, production control, engineering, accounting, assembly, and finance.
 

DETAILS ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Jet Park, Boksburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng & Paarl, Western Cape
Position: VIDEOJET: Sales Apprentice
Number of positions available: 2 – one in each location
Contract duration: 2 years

H.G. Molenaar are inviting candidates to apply for their apprenticeship programme within the Videojet business. The programme will involve training candidates to become sales representatives – selected candidates will join the sales department, in a role best suited to their skill set.

Those who are interested in a career in sales, are driven, energetic, self-motivated, willing to learn, and have a natural flair for sales should apply. Candidates will receive on-the-job training and will assist with the sale of ink jet coders and related technologies for batch & date coding onto FMCG goods.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric (minimum qualification)
  • Completed a Marketing qualification/ similar qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Studying part-time towards a qualification in Marketing, Sales or Business Management (advantageous but not essential)
  • Must have at least 2 years working experience
  • Must have an interest and aptitude for sales
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must have knowledge and experience working in MS Excel and Word
  • Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be professional and well presented at all times
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must be confident and able to engage with people
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be willing to relocate to a location when a Videojet position becomes available
