DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Blouberg, Cape Town, Western Cape

Pam Golding (Pty) Ltd is offering an Internship opportunity for the position of Real Estate Intern.
The programme aims to find a motivated candidate that has a passion for a career in real estate and wants to represent a world-famous brand.

During the programme, the candidate's main duty will be to represent Pam Golding in all aspects of professional and successful marketing, whilst also selling property. The successful candidate must ensure a standard of excellent customer service is always maintained.
 

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

  • Ensuring information about a property is collected
  • Arranging for photographs to be taken
  • Communicating and visiting (building a relationship) with sellers of a property
  • Accurately establishing the value of a property
  • Co-ordinate and attend show days
  • Successfully promote and market properties on sale
  • Provide representation to sellers and buyers during the negotiation process
  • Finish sales and liaise with the different parties (such as conveyancers and mortgage brokers)
  • Ensuring you are constantly up to date on the latest trends within the local residential property market

The Requirements you will need to achieve in your first 12 months. On successful completion of this, you will qualify as a Full Estate Qualification:

  • Ensuring your daily activities are documented in a completed journal
  • Completing a portfolio to prove your learning and projects
  • Successfully completing the NQF-4 assessment and Real Estate course.
  • Ensuring the EAAB logbook is completed
  • When instructed by your mentor, partake in client visits and meetings

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric (NSC)

  • Must have your own reliable smart-devices (cellphone and laptop)
  • Must live near to/ in Blouberg
  • Must have a valid Drivers Licence
  • Must have a reliable vehicle
  • Must be able to financially support yourself for the first few months of the programme
  • Must have a background in Sales
  • Must be able to offer excellent customer care
  • Must follow and uphold Pam Golding's values
  • Must be adaptable
  • Must be able to work in a high-pressured environment
  • Must have excellent coping abilities
  • Must have excellent verbal skills (written and oral)
  • Must have knowledge of the rules of real estate
  • Must have excellent computer knowledge
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to work over-time
