DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Locations: Cape Town, Western Cape & Johannesburg, Gauteng
Duration: 12 Months (starting on 1 April)
Contract Type: Full-Time

SAS is looking for a university graduate intern to join its Customer Advisory, Sales, Consulting Marketing, and finance team. The opportunity will allow the candidate to be mentored by SAS's team of experts, enhance the candidates professional network as well as apply their skills to solve real-life business problems. The candidate will also be paid during the internship whilst they learn and join this highly competitive market. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must be a South African citizen
Education requirement: must have completed a Honours or Masters Degree in either of the following:
- 1) Customer Advisory/ Consulting: Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics,
  Economics, Statistics, Risk, Engineering, Actuarial Sciences
- 2) Sales: Econometrics, Analytics, Mathematics and Statistics
- 3) Marketing: Marketing Management, Business Management, Brand Management, Digital Branding
- 4) Finance: Accounting Science
Must be available to join the internship programme on and from the designated date and duration
Must be fluent in English (written and oral)
Must NOT have significant prior working experience
Must NOT have partaken in any graduate or internship programmes prior
Must be accountable, curious and authentic
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be good at solving problems with an analytical approach
Must be pro-active
Must be reliable and flexible
Must be willing to work in a high pressured environment whilst staying self-motivated
